About the event

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
If I’m a beginner, can I enter?
Yes, absolutely. This event is designed for all skill levels. Whether you’re brand new to scootering or have never competed before, you’re welcomed to join. The focus is on personal progression and having a good time.
We will kick off the day with a beginners only jam for riders ages 13 & under, but beginners & younger riders are more then welcomed to participate in the jams all-day long.
Does registering include an all-day pass to ride?
Yes. Registration includes all-day access to ride during the event and includes participation in every jam session. If you're not participating in a particular spot, we encourage you to watch & support the riders, but you're also welcomed to use the entire skatepark throughout the day.
If you want to be on your scooter & ride the skatepark the day of the event, you need to register.
How can I win & what are the prizes?
Prizes are awarded based on progression, not skill level. We’re looking for riders who push themselves and try new tricks—riders are rewarded for hitting personal milestones. There is no requirement to attempt anything you’re not ready for, progression looks different for everyone.
There is a $5,000 cash prize pool given out throughout the day, plus thousands of dollars in scooter parts and product. Each of the seven spots will award $500 total ($300 cash for tricks and $200 for best trick). In addition, $1,000 goes to 1st place and the overall winner presented by S1 Helmets, and $500 to the best trick of the day presented by The Vault Pro Scooters.
Cash and product will be given out all day, including decks, wheels, bars, forks, clamps, and more from top brands in the industry.
What is the contest format?
The contest features 30-minute jam sessions across seven different spots throughout the skatepark.
This format is designed to create an open, high-energy environment where riders can push themselves at their own pace. It’s not about how good you are it’s about having fun, progressing, and feeding off the energy of the community.
Will there be giveaways and pros?
Yes. There will be product giveaways throughout the entire day, and tons of pro riders will be in attendance. It’s a great opportunity to see the worlds best riders pushing the limits, win some product and be a part of the event.
Are helmets and/or pads required?
Helmets are required for all riders per the skateparks policy.
If you don’t have one, the skatepark has helmets available for rental, additionally S1 Helmets will be selling helmets for $20 to registered riders at the event.
Pads are recommended, especially for younger and beginner riders, but are not required.
If I’m a member at Clairemont do I still need to register?
Yes. For members and non-members advance registration online is $30 and $40 on the day of at the door.
Can parents stay and watch?
Yes. Parents, friends, family and spectators are welcome and encouraged to stay, watch the jams, and enjoy the event. The goal is to create a positive, community-focused atmosphere for riders and families alike.
